Elizabeth CurtisHi! Brumby has been my home for seventeen years. Originally I am from Virginia. I received my B.A. from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia. Now I have a Master's of Early Childhood Degree from Kennesaw State University. Kindergarten is my passion! It is fun teaching the brothers and sisters of former students here at Brumby. At home I have two daughters of my own who are twenty-three and nineteen. They started Kindergarten in the Cobb County Schools. Then they also went to middle school here in Cobb County, and graduated from Kennesaw Mountain High School. After school I enjoy gardening, swimming, spending time with my daughters, and doing projects at home.

Yvonne BorchardtMy name is Yvonne Hanley-Borchardt. I received my B.S. from Kennesaw State University in 2013. I previously worked in the corporate world in Human Resources, but I always knew that I wanted to teach so I did a mid-life career change. I’ve never regretted my decision either. This is my 7th year at Brumby Elementary and my 6th year teaching Kindergarten. I love teaching at Brumby and honestly can’t imagine working anywhere else. I’ve lived in Georgia since 1988 and now consider it home. However, my roots run deep, so as much as I enjoy watching a Braves baseball game, the St. Louis Cardinals will always be my team! I have been married for 20 years to “Mr. Dale” and I have two wonderful step-daughters and three grandchildren so far. Dale and I are truly enjoying being grandparents! I also have three very spoiled rotten dogs at home that I love so much! My disabled mother came to live with me two years ago, so I have quite a busy household at times. I enjoy spending time with my husband, dogs, grandchildren, family and friends, but I really love it when we can get away and just go camping!

Mary ConstantinidesHello! My name is Mary Constantinides, and this year is my third at Brumby Elementary School. I am so excited to be teaching Kindergarten! Pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University was a natural progression for me after raising four children in Marietta. My first grandchild is pictured with me! When I am not in school, I love to cook. You might find me at the Marietta Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings selling homemade Mediterranean spreads and pita bread! I am looking forward to a great school year!
